10/11/11

Two things i already knew:
1) the rule of thirds-"The is that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections"
2) grab good bites- a sound bite is a short phrase your interviewee gives

Two things i now have learned:
1) Use Trucking ShotsTrucking or dolly shots move with the action.
2)
Shooting repetitive action in sequence is another way to tell a story, build interest or create
suspense.

Do I believe that google+ is the new facebook? No, because it doesnt have the same aspects that facebook offers you. Another thing about google+ being a new thing to the social media is that not too many people know about it. This could make people decide on whether or not its even worth the point of joining google-plus or not. I'm still don't think that I will be joining this newcomer to the social network. I say this because I dont think its a good idea to have a lot of my information so easily assessable to the work.

Eastview Edition: "Everybody has a Story"

In our edition of "Everybody has a story", I had the privilege of working with Allison Dodge. In my brief interview with my childhood friend i got to learn a lot of interesting things about her. Some things she enjoys are listening to music, hanging out with friends, watchingher favorite t.v shows including, "glee", and the recently ended "glee project". I learned that her favorite contestant from the "glee project"  was Cameron Mitchell, who left in fifth place on the season. A story I got to hear from Allison was, that she got to see Darren Chris from the show "glee" perform live at a festival with her family. And while she was there, there was almost a fight that happened in front of her. But luckily no one was harmed. Allison also enjoys photoshop, which is one of her classes shes taking this year.Even though it was a brief interview I learned a lot more Allison, and had fun while doing it in our Eastview Edition of "Everybody has a story".

Something Unique: Ally is an amazing gem. Who is anything but ordianry. She loves hanging out with friends, watching glee, moives, and being around her friends and family.
Teaser: Allison Dodge, is a free-spirited , fun loving girl, who enjoys photoshop, glee, and hanging out with her friends and family.
